iKamper Skycamp 4.0

Three sizes. Smarter geometry. A brand new 3-person Trio. Available April 2026.

March 2026

iKamper's flagship fold-out series gets its most refined update yet. The 4.0 doesn't reinvent the Skycamp — it sharpens it. Same proven vehicle footprint, meaningfully more interior space, and a new Trio size that fills the gap most campers actually needed.

What's New in the 4.0

01

New Trio size

The 4.0 adds a 3-person size that sits between the Duo and Quad — the first time a mid-size Skycamp has existed.

02

Narrower footprint on Duo and Trio

Both smaller sizes are narrower than previous Skycamp generations, making them easier to fit on mid-size SUVs, wagons, and crossovers.

03

Duracore™ FRP shell

The fiber-reinforced plastic shell gets a new name and cleaner exterior lines, with better UV and temperature resistance than standard plastic.

04

BreathWeave™ fabric

High-density polycotton manages moisture through breathability rather than heavy waterproof coatings — better airflow, lower condensation risk.

05

ThermaSeal™ flooring — now standard

Cork-topped honeycomb aluminum base is included on all three sizes. Previously an upgrade. Adds thermal insulation and dampens road noise.

06

More interior headroom

Extended floor panel design increases usable space, particularly headroom near the center of the tent where you actually sit up.

07

Larger doors, windows, and skylight

Wider entrance, bigger side windows, expanded skylight panel — more airflow and easier access for taller campers.

08

Integrated LED lighting — standard

Built into the tent structure, controlled from inside. No more fumbling for a headlamp.

09

Duct and electrical pass-throughs

Run a heater hose or power cable in without cracking a zipper — practical for shoulder-season and winter camping.

10

Optional 3" self-inflating air mattress

Open-cell foam with air chambers for adjustable firmness. Adds $80–$130 depending on size.

Proprietary Materials

Duracore™ FRP Shell

Fiber-reinforced plastic engineered for UV, temperature extremes, and sustained weather. Double-walled for insulation.

BreathWeave™ Fabric

High-density polycotton that manages moisture through breathability. Reduces condensation and mold risk over time.

ThermaSeal™ Floor

Honeycomb aluminum + cork insulation. Thermal performance in cold conditions, road noise dampening. Standard on all 4.0 sizes.
